News

For those that missed the June 4th DDA National Meetings, here is the latest update. Go to the photo gallery to see a few pictures.

The new officers were presented to the attending membership and voted on. Phil Jostes was elected President, Brian Taggerty as Vice President, Beth Ryan as Secretary and Fred Trussell as Treasurer. Go look them up on the Contact page. These new officers will serve a two year term. The annual Treasurer's report was presented and approved. The Minutes from the December 2010 meeting were also presented and approved.

The DDA is continuing forward with a rewrite of the Bylaws and the new Executive Board agreed that DDA would not collect the $2 per member from the Chapters.

Heads up for those who get the Doll Rx by mail! The Executive board discussed the cost of supporting this option and have decided that starting in the next dues cycle (2012-2013) those requesting mail delivery would be required to pay an additional $5.00 with their dues to help cover the costs.

The new Executive Board is interested in getting further participation by the membership in the National goings on. There was discussion of possibly having one meeting per year somewhere else in the US. Also the possibility was discussed of having and on-line capability for members to vote on the Officers. Let the Board know ehat you think of this.
